Jaime Mauricio Luna recently graduated from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University with a B.A. in Policy Studies and a Minor in History. Born in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico, Jaime Mauricio has also spent a significant part of his life in San Diego, California. During his time at Syracuse, he served as the 2023-2024 President of the Mexican Student Association (MEXSA), where he organized multiple high-attendance events and collaborated with the Program on Latin American Affairs and the Caribbean to host a Mexican gubernatorial candidate to discuss the Mexican election. Jaime Mauricio was a manager for the Policy Studies Skills Win! Program for two semesters. He was also part of the Blackstone LaunchPad program at Syracuse University, where he competed in multiple pitch competitions and was inducted into the “Founder’s Circle.” He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
