Leah Lerner, Graduate Fellow, supports our Middle East & North Africa practice.

Leah has researched the Middle East for several years in academic, think tank, and global affairs advisory settings. She is particularly interested in Arab-Israeli relations, economic diversification in the Gulf, and Political Islam. She wrote her master’s dissertation on Turkish foreign policy towards Saudi Arabia under the AKP.

Leah holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. She has research proficiency in Hebrew and Arabic.
