Program Overview

McLarty Associates is proud to offer paid temporary positions through our Internship and Graduate Fellowship Program. We seek highly motivated students who are interested in learning more about the field of international strategic advising and who have a strong background in regional and international studies as well as economics, trade and/or business.

Interns and Graduate Fellows are an integral part of our team. The focus of the internship is on research and writing, however selected students are viewed as active participants in the entire client services process and thus get exposure beyond research.

Students who are currently attaining a Master’s degree are eligible to be a Graduate Fellow.

Our Internships and Graduate Fellowships are offered on a semester basis:

  • Spring: January to May (applications accepted beginning in November)
  • Summer: June to August (applications accepted beginning in March)
  • Fall: September to December (applications accepted beginning in July)

Internship and Graduate Fellowship Opportunities

Internship or Graduate Fellowship, India & South Asia

McLarty Associates is seeking applicants for a paid semester internship or graduate fellowship focusing on India & South Asia.

The intern will conduct extensive research on public policy, business, political, and trade issues; attend and report on speeches, panel discussions, and policy forums of interest to the firm and clients; assist professional staff with general office and administrative support; and perform additional duties as assigned. Candidates must be able to commit to working from February through May with a preference that the candidate be able to work full-time (40 hours per week).

Ideal applicants will have:

  • Exceptional research, writing, and organizational skills
  • A strong background and demonstrated interest in South Asia
  • An understanding of international politics, economics, government relations, and the private sector
  • Experience living and/or studying in South Asia
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
