Valeria Villarreal Martinez


Valeria Villarreal Martinez, Intern, supports our Mexico practice.

Valeria Villarreal is completing her BS in Foreign Service with a concentration in International Politics and Foreign Policy at Georgetown University. She is pursuing a certificate in Diplomatic Studies and a minor in Latin American Studies. During her time at Georgetown, she has worked as a research assistant and translator at the Center for Latin American Studies.  
Prior to MA, Valeria served as the Training and Global Partnerships Director of Project Olas, a social impact venture that provides women in vulnerable Central American communities with sustainable income opportunities through Spanish teaching. She also interned at the Mexican Embassy’s Office of Political Affairs conducting research on US-Mexico relations.  
Valeria is fluent in Spanish and French and can sustain a conversation in German.
