Troy Benavides

Troy Benavides, Associate, supports our Brazil & Southern Cone practice.
Troy is a dual-national Brazilian-American born and raised in San Francisco. Due to his deep affinity for his family’s home country of Brazil, he moved to São Paulo after high school. After living, studying, and working in Brazil for several years, he transferred to the George Washington University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Development.
Troy joined the Brazil & Southern Cone practice after interning on the team. He has also conducted research on trade and economic issues for the California State Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, and the World Wildlife Fund. He is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
