Ray Sulieman

Ray Sulieman, Associate, supports the Office of the Vice Chair, Nelson W. Cunningham.
Razan “Ray” Sulieman graduated from Yale University in 2021 with a BA in Comparative Literature. Ray specializes in translation and transnational studies, focusing primarily on Arabic and French texts. She has worked as a research assistant writing about HIV and LGBT groups living in Lebanon, and has led the Arabic Committee for the Yale Interpretation Network.
Her work has been utilized by the Yale Law Journal, the New Haven Legal Assistance Association, the World Health Organization, and Lebanon’s Ministry of Health. Ray also wrote for the Yale Daily News and is a first-generation college graduate. She is originally from Chicago, IL and speaks fluent Arabic.
