Nikhita Salgame

Nikhita Salgame, Associate, supports our China practice.
Prior to joining the firm, Nikhita was a James C. Gaither Junior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where she worked on democracy, conflict, and governance issues. She also has experience researching US-China relations at the Brookings Institution and gender lens investing at the US International Development Finance Corporation.
Nikhita received her BA with highest honors from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, where she wrote an award-winning senior thesis on Chinese foreign media investment. Born and raised primarily in the US, she has lived in India and China and is proficient in Mandarin and Spanish.
