Lexi Schmidt, Intern, supports our Europe practice.
Lexi received her BA in Political Science and International Studies with a Global Security concentration and a certificate in European Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During her undergraduate studies, Lexi interned with the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, and a law firm. She also spent a semester abroad in Freiburg, Germany studying the EU.
After completing her degree, Lexi was selected to participate in the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals, a scholarship program jointly funded by the U.S. and German governments. She spent the year in Germany studying the language, volunteering with the U.S. Embassy, completing research with Technische Universität Dresden, and interning with an international strategy consulting firm.
She is interested in international and comparative law with an emphasis on transatlantic relations. She speaks German with advanced proficiency.
