Leena A. Khan is a junior in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she is pursuing a major in International Politics and Foreign Policy in the Middle East, a certificate in Arab Studies, and a minor in Biology. She grew up in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where her fascination with Middle Eastern politics first sparked. In Washington D.C., she has worked as a congressional intern writing policy briefings on Middle Eastern and South Asian affairs and has served as a Public Diplomacy Intern at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia. On campus, Leena is a member of the Arab Society and directs Model United Nations conferences. Her interests include human rights and social advocacy.
