Kirsten Lorgen-Knapp, Research Associate, supports our Latin America team.
In 2016, she received her master’s degree from American University’s School of International Service, where her specialization was US foreign policy and national security. Kirsten was previously a graduate fellow at McLarty Associates from 2014-2015 and subsequently worked as an independent contractor conducting research and analysis on government policy related to nuclear power, cybersecurity, and electrical grids. Kirsten previously worked as an economic specialist for the US State Department at the US Embassy in Mexico City, where she managed the energy portfolio. She is fluent in Spanish.
