Kelsey Canfield

Kelsey Canfield, Graduate Fellow, supports our Middle East and North Africa & Media practice.

Kelsey Canfield currently pursues an M.A. at the George Washington University where she focuses on International Affairs and Defense Policy in the Middle East. A former Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellow, Kelsey has studied Arabic and spent time in the Gulf region as a Boren Scholar in Qatar and a Visiting Scholar in Saudi Arabia through Gateway KSA, a program supported by King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies.

In addition to spending time in the Gulf, she has completed open-source research for the U.S. Department of State in Arabic and English working closely with U.S. embassies in the MENA region.
