Hope Hunter graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2023, earning a BA in Global Studies with a concentration in political systems and an MA in Political Science with a focus on transatlantic relations. During her master’s program, she spent three semesters at Sciences Po, Grenoble, studying the European Union. She previously interned at the US Embassy in Paris with the US Foreign Commercial Service, supporting U.S. trade policy objectives in European markets and assisting U.S. companies in resolving market access barriers. Additionally, she worked as a Research Assistant on a European Research Council-funded project, investigating how EU citizens in different welfare states perceive economic inequality. Prior to returning to the United States, Hope served as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of an international tech firm based in Paris, France.
Originally from North Carolina, Hope has lived in Zurich, Switzerland, and various regions of France. She speaks French with advanced proficiency.
