Hamna Tariq, Graduate Fellow, supports our South Asia practice.
Hamna Tariq is currently pursuing a Masters of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, concentrating in International Security Policy and Energy and Environment and specializing in Data Analytics and Quantitative Analysis. Hamna completed her B.A. in International Studies from Trinity College, Connecticut in May 2020.
Hamna researched the state of Pakistan’s technology landscape and startup economy with the South Asia Center at the Atlantic Council in Summer 2022. Prior to graduate school, Hamna was the Junior Fellow with the South Asia Program at the Stimson Center, serving as the Associate Editor of South Asian Voices, tracking political and economic developments in the region, and supporting nuclear security research. Hamna is proficient in Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and Spanish, and can read and write Arabic.
