Gabriella Rodbell, Graduate Fellow, supports our Brazil and Southern Cone practice.
Gabriella (Gabbi) Rodbell is a recent graduate of Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she triple concentrated in International Political Economy, Latin American Studies and International Economics. While attending SAIS, Gabbi focused her professional development through graduate internship positions with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), Cluster Consulting (a Brazilian economic development consolatory), and The Brookings Institution. Before graduate school, Gabbi became familiarized with the legislative lobbying process by working as a paralegal at a prominent governmental relations firm, Featherstonhaugh, Wiley and Clyne. Gabbi received her BA from St. Lawrence University in International Economics and Estudios Hispánicos. At St. Lawrence Gabbi studied abroad in Rouen, France and Madrid, Spain. She has a professional working mastery of Spanish, elementary French, and is currently studying Portuguese.
Gabbi has long been fascinated by the interactions between states and markets in Latin America and will further her studies through a Boren Fellowship in Brazil, commencing in January 2023.
