Atharv Gupta


Atharv Gupta, Intern, supports the firm’s Africa practice.

Atharv is a junior at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, studying Science, Technology, and International Affairs, with minors in Mandarin Chinese and Computer Science. Prior to joining the Africa Practice at McLarty Associates, he interned with the U.S. State Department Office of West African Affairs and the World Bank Food and Agriculture Global Practice.

At Georgetown, Atharv plays trumpet with the GU Jazz Ensemble and is part of a student-run consulting organization that works with international non-profits. He is passionate about emerging technology policy, sustainable development, and innovation ecosystems, particularly across sub-Saharan Africa. He speaks English and has moderate proficiency in French, Chinese, and Hindi. He is originally from Annandale, Virginia.
