Amanda Long

Amanda Long, Graduate Fellow, supports the firm’s Africa practice.
Amanda Long is a Master of International Affairs candidate at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs where she specializes in international security policy and conflict resolution. Prior to this experience, Amanda served as the senior program and policy specialist in the Executive Office at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP). In this capacity, she developed strategic planning documents and keynote speeches for the USIP President & CEO; managed relationships with international and multilateral partners; and supported USIP’s thematic work on conflict prevention and fragility. She has held previous positions at the Atlantic Council and Council on Foreign Relations.
Amanda is originally from Texas and holds a bachelor’s in international relations and global studies from The University of Texas at Austin.
